Meet The Team
"Innovation is the key to success."
After graduating with a degree in Finance from Michigan State University, Matt worked for three years at Apple in iTunes and the App Store in unique roles. After researching the complexities involved with the relief efforts for the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, Matt saw an opportunity to help smaller nonprofit organizations with a variety of business needs. He left the company to start Karma Store, which has since evolved into KARMA. He is passionate about helping those most in need.
"There's so much potential for impact, let's unlock it!"
Shan went to UCSC where he studied the key skill-sets for how to change the world. He went on to work with the Transformative Action Institute, helping spread their award-winning curriculum for training the next generation of social entrepreneurs, visionaries, and problem-solvers. After his own attempt at a startup for helping nonprofits to take their impact to the next level, he co-founded KARMA with a team that could make this dream come true. He believes deep community is the solution to virtually all our worlds problems.
